The Original, Jr., and X-treme systems all work on the same grease capturing theory. The first and second steps are very similar as to the way the grease is allowed to flow through the polypropylene pillows. Polypropylene is a hydrophobic material that will only absorb the grease running through the system. The only major difference between the systems are the capacity of grease they are able to absorb.
The third level in the Original, and X-Treme system is a simple over flow tray that also have our patented pillows placed inside.
The trick to our products being so effective is simple. By allowing a time transfer from a high flow volume entering the system to the slower low volume leaving the system. Our designs slow the water and F.O.G. flow to a ratio that the pillows can have time to absorb the grease running through the system.
Friction points through out the entire system allow for points where there is friction to agitate the grease and water that is running through.
Grease will solidify at a temperature of anything over 50 degrees . (This is only an estimate and will very dependant on the type of grease as well.) The metal our systems are made out allow the temperature of the box to stay cooler in the sun than most traditional open drain field systems that have direct UV exposure.
The unique design our systems have allow for a low impact onto the exhaust system and for them to blend with the ductwork so they are not an eye soar.
The Grease Box Systems are a gravity fed system. What this means is that they are designed for flow to enter in the top and exit in the bottom. The weight you will feel in the system when it is time to service will be from the grease in the pillows. No water!
The GreaseBox Ultra is our newest system on the market and works similar to these systems but have some unique designs theories added into it to make it able to absorb over 120lbs of grease...
